This is a continuation of my earlier post – Dealing with Leaky Gut Syndrome of Rheumatoid Arthritis – Specific Remedies for Parasites, Pathogenic Bacteria & Fungi (Part 2). In this very post, I will solely focus on Dr Hulda Clark’s protocol for a parasite cleanse.
Dr Hulda Clark (Oct 1928 to Sep 2009) was a naturopath, author and practitioner of alternative medicine. She believes that all human diseases are related to parasitic infection, and cure of all diseases is possible if parasites are decimated. She had written several books, documenting her approaches and methods of diseases treatment. While many people swore by the efficacy of her methods, she has also been frequently criticized and dismissed for her claims, which were cited as ‘lack of scientific validity and consist of anecdotal evidence’.
While I cannot totally agree with statements of claims that talk of 100% cure for all cancers with her treatment approaches, I do acknowledge the fact that not all of her claims are untrue to certain effects. Without clinic evidence on her statements, I can only make sense out of how she view a chronic condition like RA and the approaches to treating it to deem the extent of conviction I can make out of that view.
In her book – The Cure for All Diseases p.78-86, she mentioned that:
In Rheumatoid Arthritis, the bacteria come from larger parasites – wormlets that actually living in the joints. The worms are the common little roundworms whose eggs hatch into microscopic wormlets that travel.
We have four common roundworms: Ascaris, hookworm, Strongyloides, Trichinella. Their life cycle normally directs them to travel to the lungs but in some people they travel through the entire body, including brain, muscles and joints. More research is necessary to explain this. My suspicion is that there are toxins, like mercury, thallium, cadmium, lead, as well as solvents, distributed through the body, lowering immunity and allowing the tiny larvae to reside there. Once the pathway (routing) to these organs has been established, it continues to be used by other parasites as well. Soon a variety of parasites, their bacteria and viruses, and pollutants are all headed toward these organs.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
When joints are painful it is a simple matter to kill the bacteria with an electronic zapper. Treat yourself with a zapper daily until the pain is gone. Maybe it will stay away, but chances are the bacteria have a steady source.
The most common source for Staphs and Streps are small abscesses in the jaw bone, under and beside old extractions, root canals and mercury fillings. You may get immediate pain relief just from a dental cleanup, and again disappointment may follow. Staphs and Streps are such ubiquitous bacteria, they may come not only from jaw bone infections but from gallstones, kidney stones and other parasites. The correct treatment for arthritis is a complete overhaul of body health: a diet cleanup, a body cleanup, and environmental cleanup.
When inflammation and swelling affect your joints, besides pain, it is called rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, a blood test may reveal “rheumatoid factor” to be present. In this case, the common tiny round worms have invaded your joints. These are Ascaris, Ancylostomas, Strongyloides, and Trichinella. Their eggs are everywhere around us, in dust and dirt and the filth under fingernails and our own bowel movements.
Superior sanitation is your first defense. Rinse fingernails in alcohol after cleaning up your bowel movements or changing diapers. Never, never, tolerate long fingernails in any family member… Of course, you can kill them with a zapper (internally, not the ones under the nails), but that is after you have been infected. They are easily picked up again. It would be wise to zap for roundworms every week, just in case.
Check for dental problems. Do the Dental Clean-up. Start with the herbal parasite program and zapping. Follow this with a kidney cleanse, then liver cleanse. If any toxin is overlooked, it is sure to find your joints and permit bacteria to return and cause pain. Make sure to correct your body acid levels after doing pH measurements of the urine (p.57).
You may relieve your pain and begin to heal immediately after zapping but it is wise to do all the health programs, anyway.
Arthritic deposits contain a large amount of phosphates combined with calcium. This calcium came from some other bone, such as the base of your spine or the wrist. Here the bones are getting weaker due to this calcium loss. Calcium was taken out of your bones for the simple purpose of neutralizing the excess phosphate in your diet. Reduce phosphate consumption (meats, soda pop, grains) by half… Change your diet. Drink much more water. Switch to toxin-free body products. Live in a non-toxic house. Stay on a maintenance parasite program of herbs, and zap regularly. Stay on the kidney cleanse for three to six weeks and repeat a one-week session every few months to keep removing deposits which may also choose these sick joints to settle in. Knees are a favorite location for rheumatoid arthritis. Knees are very dependent on kidneys.
Allergic Arthritis
A prominent food toxin that is said to affect knees is piperine, found in the pepper family which includes black and white pepper (not cayenne). The Solanaceae family of plants (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, tobacco!) also has a common “allergen” that produces joint pain. Try going off these for two weeks to see if it helps.
Your body makes large amounts of hippuric acid, up to a gram a day. It is the product of benzoic acid detoxification by the liver. Quite a few fruits contain natural benzoic acid. But we can easily triple and quadruple our benzoic acid intake by consuming commercial beverages and pastries where benzoic acid is used as a preservative. It is indeed a “natural” preservative. All of it must be detoxified, though, and this gives us way too much hippuric acid. The kidneys are unable to excrete such overloads of hippuric acid, so it distributes itself in our organs. I suspect a simple mechanism could explain its pain-triggering action: hippuric acid molecules could attach themselves to our cell’s conductance channels keeping the gates jammed open. This might invite bacteria and viruses to enter there. But there are also hippuric acid-loving bacteria that feed on it. Perhaps hippuric acid can cause pain without the help of bacteria. This requires further study. It is only sensible for persons with chronic pain not to consume benzoic acid (or benzoate) preserved foods.
PIT is a food chemical found especially in chicken, eggs, the cabbage family, peas. PIT is also part of the body’s own chemistry, taking place in the liver, and involving detoxification of cyanide-containing foods. Many vegetables, notably the cabbage family, contain such cyanides, giving them protection from insects, disease, and grazing animals. It can take the liver a week to detoxify a meal full of these cyanides: in the meantime, PIT levels are higher in the body. PIT is very reactive. In fact, it is the chemical used as a general reactant with amino acids in the well known Edman degradation reaction. But now, your body is the reaction flask, supplying the amino acids. Since all organs supply amino acids, it is no wonder they can all react to PIT, giving you multiple allergic reactions and pains.
If you have any kind of arthritis, stop eating the high-PIT foods and clean the liver until you are free of all allergies you are aware of. This suggests that the liver is capable, again, of detoxifying the cyanides for you in a reasonable time and you may eat them again. These foods do have many benefits, of course.
Herbs and treatments that help arthritis are, therefore, plentiful. Maybe they act by killing roundworms, bacteria, and viruses, or help metabolize hippuric acid or PIT. Homeopathic treatments, as well as massage, heat and electronic devices also help. With this wide range of effective treatments dating to the distant past, why is none of them a permanent cure? The answer is simple. The common roundworms are everywhere about us, sanitation is poor, and our civilized lifestyle leads to deposit formation that invites bacteria. But knowing this. you can stop your pain and remove the causes to become one of the first humans to achieve a permanent cure.
Dr Hulda Clark’s Protocol – The Parasite Cleanse
The focal point of the post today will be on the parasite cleanse of Dr Clark’s cure protocol.
There are three herbs that are used in the parasite cleanse program:
- Green black walnut hulls (from the black walnut tree – juglans nigra) – Used by the American Indians as an antiparasite, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal remedy.
- Wormwood (from the Artemisia shrub – artemisia absinthum) – Known for its vermicidal properties and helps with increasing the acidity of the stomach and the production of bile.
- Common cloves (from the clove tree – eugenia caryophyllata) – Antiparasitical, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. It also removes pain.
These three herbs must be used together. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs. Only if they are used together then can one get rid of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment.
How to Perform the Parasite Cleanse
For starters, the parasite cleanse will take approximately 18 days. Below is the parasite cleanse handy chart to guide you through the frequency and dosage of intake. Strike out the doses as you take them.
This herbal parasite program has however known to be insufficient with tapeworms and Ascaris. Dr Clark therefore perfected the treatment to include Coenzyme Q-10 in a one time high dosage (3000mg) to kill most tapeworms. In cases, few tapeworms can still escape this treatment as well as the common roundworm, Ascaris.
To deal with these parasites, apply Dr Clark’s mop-up program. Take for two weeks the following:
- Ozonated olive oil – 1 tablespoon morning and afternoon.
- L-Cysteine(500mg) – 2 capsules 3 X daily
- Vitamin E (400IU) – Once daily, 5 hours away from olive oil (before & after)
- Coenzyme Q10 (3000mg) – A single dose once per week for 3 weeks, or for serious illness, take a large dose (1 tsp. powder) daily, if not take the large dose 3000mg once a week indefinitely. Continue until well.
Maintenance Program
After the initial cleanse, it is necessary to continue with a weekly maintenance program of parasite cleanse because we are picking up parasites anytime and anywhere; even from close family members, our pets and uncooked foods.
For the maintenance of mop-up program, this can be done annually or for as long as you are on maintenance parasite cleanse.
My Thought on Dr Hulda Clark’s Parasite Cleanse:
I have laid above the recommended protocol on parasite cleanse together with RA-relevant information; herefrom, I shall leave it to you, with an informed right, to determine your own health care methods. While I was convinced that I have to try this specific parasite cleanse out, the products are still sitting in my shelf. I found out after the purchase that I am actually allergic to cloves! Since all three herbs need to be consumed together for maximum benefits, I do not see the reason why I have to get through with it. Eventually, guess what? I go back to grapefruit seed extract, virgin coconut oil and zapping with a type of device also originally invented by Dr Hulda Clark for parasites. If you have not heard about zapping before, find out the wonders of zapping in my next blog post!
Nonetheless, I can only express my deepest gratitude for Dr Clark who selflessly share her approach towards wellness and self-health. To keep yourself healthy, you need to do it yourself. Her quote on self-health goes:
Step into a new world. A world without chronic diseases.
Step out of your old world. It has kept you a prisoner.
Try something new. The prison has no walls. It has only lines. Lines that mark the ground around you. Inside the lines are your old ideas. Outside are new ideas that invite you to step over and escape your prison. Dare to try these new ideas and your illness promises to recede. In a few weeks it can be gone.

November 26, 2013 at 12:27 am (10 years ago)Diana, Love what you wrote here. I too was diagnosed with RA when I was 26 and I did not figure out the real problem until this year, I am now 43. 17 years of pain, depression, and irritability. My naturopath has done a lot to cure me but the high blood pressure is still there even though the parasites were gone. Unfortunately I think they are back. I am going to take diatomacous earth and see if that will cure me for good. I have seen some amazing reviews on it not only for RA but also high cholesterol, bed bugs, etc. Thank you again for posting this. I only wish I could get my “non believer” friends to realize that MOST of their problems are parasite related.
Nicole from Chicago!

April 24, 2014 at 11:42 pm (10 years ago)Thank you, Nicole. Having said that, I just did another round of parasite cleanse. You wouldn’t believe that I pulled out a tapeworm!

July 23, 2014 at 1:47 pm (9 years ago)Diana, you have pulled a tapeworm out? Would you mind sharing how this happened for you? I am on my third day of the cleanse. During the day I only have freshly pressed veg juice and in the evening raw food mixed with hummus and or avocado.
I add cyenne pepper to my juices, garlic, parsley. On the first day I had segments in my stool. Small sesame seed like segmants. I had a look online and apparently they are tapeworm segmants.
I use woodowrm and black walnt hull 3 times a day, I dont have clove oil but organic whole cloves so I put them in my mouth and chew and suck them.
I am still without the ozonator so can only take the L-Cysteine 3 times a day.
I am interested to know how you got the tapeworm out. I am quite scared of this thing coming out of me but equally scared of having it live within me.

September 4, 2014 at 1:36 pm (9 years ago)Mia, yes – I pulled out the tapeworm (eww- it was totally gross!) and I believed there might be more after I noticed the tapeworm segments (white small sesame seeds) in my stool. Lots of them for a number of days. Every night, I even felt itchiness at the bottom (so possibly pinworms infestation too); so much so that I couldn’t quite sleep well every night. I didn’t even know how I could possibly got it so bad considering that I’d been doing parasite cleanse and enemas multiple times in the past. I used Dr Clark’s parasite cleanse recipe again – Wormwood, Black Green Walnut Hull & Clove. I also purchased Paratrex (from GHC) which is similar to Clarkia – it’s in liquid form for enema and finally, DE (Diatomaceous Earth) – used all for 2 months and continuing. And, I’m feeling great now. So far so good. I think enemas help a lot because I suspected I saw them coming through. Diana xoxo

April 18, 2014 at 1:08 pm (10 years ago)I was diagnosed with RA four years ago and had a rash with flu like symptoms the month before my first major flare that covered my entire body. I’m using food grade diatomaceous earth to see if it has an effect. its only the second day and I can feel the worms leaving affected joint capsules and then dying after they burrow their way up my arm from my knuckles a bit. they started leaving my system within two hours of taking my first dose. I had systemic candida also and I’m going to get a stool study done at my doc appt next week to see exactly what was in my system. my docs refused to test me for parasites because they said I didn’t fit the profile in their opinion but I can see them in my stool. I have more energy than I’ve had in years after just two days and am having detox and die off symptoms but its nothing compared to the pain I’ve been in for years. I found the food grade diatomaceous earth in a 4.4 lb bag for $15 at an organic gardening store. its the only thing that’s safe for me to use now also since I’m pregnant but I’ve also been using boron to treat RA. I had lessening pain but was still flaring. boron has an antiparasitic effect but may not be strong enough for all cases but the DE definitely works.

April 24, 2014 at 12:00 pm (10 years ago)I heard a lot about DE. Never tried it for myself because I cannot got hold of one with a good grade. By the way, have you checked up edible earth. Would it work the same as well? Perhaps, you might like to supplement with HSO Probiotics like those that is sold by Garden of Life’s Primal Defense. Just my thought. By the way, is boron safe for use during pregnancy? On the subject of parasites, I happened to read that some RA community is actually trying helmintic therapy (using a class of parasites called helminths and sometimes, whipworms) for treating RA. This treatment was born from a theory known as the hygiene hypothesis, which essentially says our environment has become too clean. Humans aren’t exposed to microorganisms in the environment as much as they used to be, when more people lived closely with animals. We aren’t exposed to bacteria that helped regulate the immune system & such lack of exposure may partly be responsible for the increase in autoimmune disease incidents.
